I wrote a research paper, or manual, for DECA in 2023 for the BMOR (Buying and Merchandising Operations Research) event. DECA(Distributive Education Clubs of America) is a national, business-oriented, school club for high school and college students. The prompt for DECA Operations Research events in 2022-2023 was to develop a strategic plan to implement hyper-personalization in a business while addressing consumer ethical and privacy concerns regarding data collection processes. I worked with Patel Brothers – East Windsor, New Jersey to develop a potential strategic plan that implemented hyper-personalization into Patel Brothers while alleviating ethical and privacy considerations, and qualified for the DECA state conference.
